PROS: You learn a lot and quickly, but usually by necessity. It's a great place to start, especially straight out of college with the Bootcamp program but until you build a specialization and bake in extra time to be "THE" person for that, it feels like a months-long self-study. Access isn't taken for granted. Also L3 and Project Techs will give you extra time and assignments to learn but they're usually already buried in projects so that time must be used wisely. CONS: Career growth isn't linear or perfectly transparent. Certain systems are lagging in the era of AI and automation. Growing pains still exist despite team expansion and most of the team is still wearing too many hats. Lots of learn as you go which is personality-dependent. ADVICE: Title does not dictate behavior.. and too many titles can be confusing. Focus should be on personal and professional development to move up or follow up to create proper actionable plans.

Marc is always there when you need him. I’ve been working with him for over six years. His company is excellent. I recommended him to another professional friend of mine for IT work.
